Optimist Club History
The Mechanicsville Optimist Club was chartered on May 29, 1982 with 35 members. Since then, the club has evolved into an organization that is well respected and supported by the community. We are devoted to the betterment of our community, and we welcome men and women 18-years-old or older to join us in our mission. We meet on the first and third Wednesdays at the Parlett Farm in Charlotte Hall.
